I recently purchased 2 game boards as gifts. I wanted to know if the texture of the boards should be rough? If you run your hand across the top it feels like you could get a splinter. On the bottom of one board there was a small piece of wood (1/4 inch) hanging and a space of wood missing where the hanging piece was. I don’t know if I am describing it the way you can understand. Before I gave them as gifts I used the entire wood protection container I purchased from you and told parents to use more wood protection products. It helped a lot. I have had no problems with any other products. I love them all. Thank you.
