FAQ
Where are your Wood Toys Made?
All of our wooden toys are 100% made here in the United States. Our workshop is in our hometown of Madrid, Iowa. All of our lumber is sourced from Iowa and the Midwest. The few parts that we do not make ourselves such as wood rings are made by companies in Texas, Illinois, Ohio, and Maine.
How will my personalization be formatted?
Personalization size and format will be dependent on the information you want engraved and can be different from what is pictured on the website. We fit it on the toy the best possible way so it is uniform. Unfortunately, because each toy is different depending on how long the personalization is, we are not able to send a proof.
Where is your Silicone Manufactured?
We use a 100% food-grade silicone that is manufactured in China and 3rd party safety tested here in the USA along with all of our wood toys. There are no fillers or additives in our silicone. We've used the same 2 small manufactures in China since we introduced silicone parts to our toys, they are small factories that we talk to often! The silicone is: Lead Free, BPA Free, Cadmium Free, Mercury Free, Phthalate Free, FDA approved, CCPSA approved, LFGB approved, SGS approved, CPSIA compliant, have ASTM International Certification and CE Certification.
Are your Toys Really Natural?
Yes, our wood is natural. We do not stain it. We use Maple, Cherry, Beech and Walnut woods and their natural colors. Our finish is an organic beeswax and flaxseed oil finish that is all natural and nontoxic so it is the perfect finish for baby's mouth. The oil brings out the color and the beeswax provides durability. Our paint is a non-toxic, water-based paint from a company in the United States. They are lead free, no VOCs, non-toxic and made for children's toys. The glue we use is non-toxic too. Our grasping toys are left "naked", there is no finish on them.

I ordered the Bannor box and three different grasping toys for my daughter and some friends. All are beautiful! There is some discoloration of the wood on two of the toys but customer service assured me that was normal. Even so, I don't love the look of it. Besides that, everything is perfect.
This baby box is absolutely perfect for any baby! Everything is incredibly well made and safe for the littles (with supervision). I love that it’s customizable to make it even more special.
We got the box ahead of our daughter’s birth and it’s been great! It’s a perfect assortment for the first toys to grow into, all beautifully coordinated which is great for that pregnancy/newborn brain fog! We had our 3 year old “gift” it to her when she was born & she is “sharing” the blocks with him while she’s too little, so the whole family is loving it!
Bannor Baby Box
I ordered the baby box for our grandson who is on the way, so they won't be used for a few months. I have purchased other Bannor Toys products over the years for other babies/children and have been so pleased with the quality and designs. Such nice gifts. Now I get to order for my own!!
I've sent these toys to my grandson in Australia and they were a big hit! They are so well made and are in beautiful earth tone colors. My son and daughter-in-law were thrilled to receive these for Sebastian. Bannor also shipped these to Australia quickly.
So excited to give these toys to our 2 month old granddaughter for her first Christmas, especially the nativity set.
The parents loved it and also the baby is playing with some of the items.
Thanks!
Perfect gift for Calvin’s 1st Christmas!
I am beyond pleased with my purchase! The quality is the NEXT LEVEL, just absolutely beautiful and shipped super fast!! Thank you!!! Happy holidays to you and yours.
I would give Bannor Toys 10 stars if I could. I wouldn’t think of giving anything but Bannor Toys as a gift. The excellent man-made quality, fun styles and color options and made in America origin is the icing on the cake!
We absolutely love all things Bannor!! The products are beautiful, unique and definitely keepsake worthy.
Recived this as a baby shower gift, our daughter is now 3 months old and starting to playnwith the toys! It is neat to see her interact with the toys and i love the subtle sound the rattles make!
This is the perfect box for new babies and little ones! We love the rattles, teethers and silicone blocks, so having it all in one package makes for an excellent gift!
The toys are beautiful!
I’ve been buying Bannor toys for 5 years now and they never disappoint! The quality is amazing!
Choose toys by age or type, the website is easy to use and the items we have ordered have been beautiful to look at as well as safe and fun. These toys think about our planet and provide a lifetime of learning without adding any more plastic or batteries to landfills. What better gift for a child? Learning and fun and a future healthier planet?
I love the toys we’ve purchased from Bannor Toys! Every piece is heirloom quality that I know we’ll have for years to come. I love the personalization. We were so excited the train came back this year because we have one now for all three of our kiddos with their names on them. Best Christmas gifts!!
I've ordered from Bannor Toys for a few years now. My boys love their toys and I love that their heirloom quality. We have a teether with the silicone beads, a push car and the wand. I also love their personalization. My kids have more unique names so it's great being able to have their names engraved on something.
