Wooden toy FAQs
Where are Bannor Toys wooden toys made?
In our own workshop in Madrid, Iowa. Stacey makes the wood toys by hand, one at a time, and has since 2011.
What wood do you use, and how is it finished?
Mostly maple and cherry. Every piece is natural, unstained hardwood with an organic beeswax + flaxseed finish, so there is no paint or lacquer to chip.
Are your wooden toys safe for babies?
Yes. Our toys are CPSC Compliant, have been third-party lab tested, and are inspected in our workshop. Toys with silicone beads use food-grade silicone that is third-party tested in the USA.
Can wooden toys be personalized?
Most of them. Rattles, grasping toys, blocks and tags can be laser engraved with a name, two words, or full birth stats.
How do I clean a wooden toy?
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Don't soak or put it in the dishwasher. Our Organic Wood Finish Kit brings a well-loved toy back to new.
How fast do orders ship?
Orders are processed in 1–4 business days, and US shipping is free on orders of $60 or more.
