FAQ
Where are your Wood Toys Made?
All of our wooden toys are 100% made here in the United States. Our workshop is in our hometown of Madrid, Iowa. All of our lumber is sourced from Iowa and the Midwest. The few parts that we do not make ourselves such as wood rings are made by companies in Texas, Illinois, Ohio, and Maine.
How will my personalization be formatted?
Personalization size and format will be dependent on the information you want engraved and can be different from what is pictured on the website. We fit it on the toy the best possible way so it is uniform. Unfortunately, because each toy is different depending on how long the personalization is, we are not able to send a proof.
Where is your Silicone Manufactured?
We use a 100% food-grade silicone that is manufactured in China and 3rd party safety tested here in the USA along with all of our wood toys. There are no fillers or additives in our silicone. We've used the same 2 small manufactures in China since we introduced silicone parts to our toys, they are small factories that we talk to often! The silicone is: Lead Free, BPA Free, Cadmium Free, Mercury Free, Phthalate Free, FDA approved, CCPSA approved, LFGB approved, SGS approved, CPSIA compliant, have ASTM International Certification and CE Certification.
Are your Toys Really Natural?
Yes, our wood is natural. We do not stain it. We use Maple, Cherry, Beech and Walnut woods and their natural colors. Our finish is an organic beeswax and flaxseed oil finish that is all natural and nontoxic so it is the perfect finish for baby's mouth. The oil brings out the color and the beeswax provides durability. Our paint is a non-toxic, water-based paint from a company in the United States. They are lead free, no VOCs, non-toxic and made for children's toys. The glue we use is non-toxic too. Our grasping toys are left "naked", there is no finish on them.

Love this classic shape chunky puzzle! One of our favorites. Pictured with some of our other Bannor toys.
Little just got one for his 1st birthday and instantly loved it! The walnut seems to be his favorite wood.
My 1 year old loves playing with his shape puzzle and I love that I can use it with my older kids to teach them what the different shapes look like. My kids also will use the pieces from time to time with their blocks to build different things.
This puzzle was received as a gift for my now 14 month old who loves grasping and clapping the pieces together. He is started to put the shapes where they belong and it will continue to be a wonderful learning puzzle for him.
My daughter loves this puzzle! It helped her learn her shapes, too!
It looks very simple, but it seems to be difficult for babies. My baby enjoys this one. Very good for baby's motor skills!
We love this puzzle!!!! Not only is it simple to manipulate with easy to grasp pieces, it’s beautiful too! Timeless for sure. We hope to have this for future generations as well💛
The puzzle pieces is the perfect size for my baby girls hands. I am very happy with the quality of the product. Going to buy more puzzles from bannor!
We love this puzzle. Easy to grasp pieces for my little guy. A timeless piece that is extra special with the personalization.
Turned out perfect. My baby is still tiny but hoping she gets to use it soon.
This is such a great gift! I got it personalized and mama and baby both loved it. I loved the hand written gift card note included.
This is a great quality puzzle, and a great way to learn shapes. My son got this for his first birthday and plays wit it everyday. When he picks up a piece of the puzzle, I always tell him what shape it is, so he can learn it. After having it for three weeks, he just learned how to put the square puzzle piece back into the correct spot. It is amazing watching his face light up when he gets the puzzle right, especially since he is only 12 months old.
I love the size of this puzzle. The quality is perfect and will hold up to this family who is very hard on their toys :)
My little one loves this puzzle and it is a big reason why he already knows these shapes. I love how the pieces are different colors of wood as well! They aren’t rough and hold up very well.
This puzzle is beautiful and amazing quality. I like how big the pieces are and the variation in wood color that is used.
Chunky Shape Puzzle
Great toy for the little ones.
I can’t say enough how much better my daughter plays with simple toys vs. electronic/flashy toys with all the bells and whistles—which exactly why I’ve gotten a majority of her toys from Bannor Toys since she was born. And this puzzle has been the best purchase by far!
I got this for her for Christmas (she just turned 18M) and she can’t get enough of it. She gets so happy when she puts all the shapes in the correct places. And I love the high-quality wood and the simplicity of the entire puzzle. It’s sturdy and the variation of wood coloring is so cool!
Now that my daughter is more “toddler” than “infant,” I’ll definitely be looking to purchase more activity toys like this. And I’ll be able to pass them on to her siblings as they come over the next many years.
I bought these items for both my grand children and the oldest loves them the youngest is only 7 weeks old but he will enjoy them soon enough. Both parents want safe toys especially if natural so that is why I purchased these items.
Toys are high quality. Would recommend.
We love our shapes puzzle! It has been passed down through our kiddos. My almost 2 year old loves showing me the pieces one by one for me to say the shape name and then she puts it in the puzzle!
I love the simplicity and beauty of this set. One can see the craftsmanship in it. Thank you for keeping healthy natural toys part of what kids can get to play.
The toys are beautiful and of great quality.
Beautiful shape puzzle! Can’t wait to give it to my girl for her birthday!
Loved it so much, now purchasing for another grandchild :) Thank you
This puzzle is gorgeous and very high quality. I love the personalization so that my 1 year old can start recognizing the letters of his name. This is going to be my new go to gift for when friends welcome home a new baby.
