FAQ
Where are your Wood Toys Made?
All of our wooden toys are 100% made here in the United States. Our workshop is in our hometown of Madrid, Iowa. All of our lumber is sourced from Iowa and the Midwest. The few parts that we do not make ourselves such as wood rings are made by companies in Texas, Illinois, Ohio, and Maine.
How will my personalization be formatted?
Personalization size and format will be dependent on the information you want engraved and can be different from what is pictured on the website. We fit it on the toy the best possible way so it is uniform. Unfortunately, because each toy is different depending on how long the personalization is, we are not able to send a proof.
Where is your Silicone Manufactured?
We use a 100% food-grade silicone that is manufactured in China and 3rd party safety tested here in the USA along with all of our wood toys. There are no fillers or additives in our silicone. We've used the same 2 small manufactures in China since we introduced silicone parts to our toys, they are small factories that we talk to often! The silicone is: Lead Free, BPA Free, Cadmium Free, Mercury Free, Phthalate Free, FDA approved, CCPSA approved, LFGB approved, SGS approved, CPSIA compliant, have ASTM International Certification and CE Certification.
Are your Toys Really Natural?
Yes, our wood is natural. We do not stain it. We use Maple, Cherry, Beech and Walnut woods and their natural colors. Our finish is an organic beeswax and flaxseed oil finish that is all natural and nontoxic so it is the perfect finish for baby's mouth. The oil brings out the color and the beeswax provides durability. Our paint is a non-toxic, water-based paint from a company in the United States. They are lead free, no VOCs, non-toxic and made for children's toys. The glue we use is non-toxic too. Our grasping toys are left "naked", there is no finish on them.

This toy is very unique and makes a great gift for anyone with family members in Fire/Law Enforcement etc. Bannor Toys is awesome in that you can personalize and pick your own colors!
I can’t wait to gift this rattle to my niece expected to arrive very soon!! ❤️❤️❤️
The police shield baby rattle is the perfect gift for my police officer nephew. Its high quality shines in the smooth wood (no splinters possible) and the lovely hues of the three center beads. No one else offers anything like it and it is hard to find baby toys in general with this high quality. It will become a cherished family heirloom. Thank you so much!
Gift was wonderful and much appreciated, however, recipient had to do some detective work to find out who sent it. The note I wrote when ordering wasn’t enclosed.
I got this shield rattle for a friends new grandson. This is the first time ordering a rattle with birth stats. but like everything else Bannor it came out great.

My son loves this teether and I think it will be such a cute keepsake as well 💗 Thank you so much!
I am continually blown away by the creativity and level of detail that goes into the toys. I bought two of these to be personalized for a later date. These are just the cutest. I know my brother and my husband's cousin will have the most supportive kids with this.
We absolutely love our shield rattle. It is beautiful and my 3 year old enjoys helping her 2 month old sister play with it!
High quality and so cute! I’m obsessed with the badge rattle I ordered and the personalization options make it extra special! I ordered this myself on a impulse, but these would be such precious gifts!
I have purchased numerous personalized teethers as baby shower gifts. They are well made and have adorable colors. There is a variety of items to choose from. New mommies love getting something that has their new baby’s name on it. Shipping was super quick. Within a matter of days with regular shipping. I highly recommend Bannor Toys.
I’m due this July and this was the first toy I purchased for her! I couldn’t be happier to support an independent artisan business- the quality is lovely and the shipping was super quick.

Gave this to my husband as a gift on the day our son was born with the sheriffs colors & it brought tears to his eyes — he isn’t even a crier! So sentimental & sweet. We love this!! And love the personalization feature with our boy’s name.
I have given at least three personalized different rattles for family members for their babies from Bannor Toys. They are always beautifully made and such an heirloom worthy gift! This shield was no exception, both parents were delighted with such a unique gift.
I was blown away at the quality of the rattle. It is so well made, and even cuter in person. It was a huge hit with a teething 10 month old. From the time she got her hands on it, she didn’t put it down. I can’t wait to order more for our police friends when they have babies.
Absolutely love the quality of this toy and how unique it is. We had it personalized with our last name <3 Can't wait for my LO to get here so she can play with it!
