FAQ
Where are your Wood Toys Made?
All of our wooden toys are 100% made here in the United States. Our workshop is in our hometown of Madrid, Iowa. All of our lumber is sourced from Iowa and the Midwest. The few parts that we do not make ourselves such as wood rings are made by companies in Texas, Illinois, Ohio, and Maine.
How will my personalization be formatted?
Personalization size and format will be dependent on the information you want engraved and can be different from what is pictured on the website. We fit it on the toy the best possible way so it is uniform. Unfortunately, because each toy is different depending on how long the personalization is, we are not able to send a proof.
Where is your Silicone Manufactured?
We use a 100% food-grade silicone that is manufactured in China and 3rd party safety tested here in the USA along with all of our wood toys. There are no fillers or additives in our silicone. We've used the same 2 small manufactures in China since we introduced silicone parts to our toys, they are small factories that we talk to often! The silicone is: Lead Free, BPA Free, Cadmium Free, Mercury Free, Phthalate Free, FDA approved, CCPSA approved, LFGB approved, SGS approved, CPSIA compliant, have ASTM International Certification and CE Certification.
Are your Toys Really Natural?
Yes, our wood is natural. We do not stain it. We use Maple, Cherry, Beech and Walnut woods and their natural colors. Our finish is an organic beeswax and flaxseed oil finish that is all natural and nontoxic so it is the perfect finish for baby's mouth. The oil brings out the color and the beeswax provides durability. Our paint is a non-toxic, water-based paint from a company in the United States. They are lead free, no VOCs, non-toxic and made for children's toys. The glue we use is non-toxic too. Our grasping toys are left "naked", there is no finish on them.

These blocks have been in constant use since we gave them to my daughter for Christmas when she was 9 months old. She’s now 2.5! Beautiful pieces that have stood up to daily use! So glad we splurged and got this large set!
We love our alphabet blocks and my preschoolers love to put them in order while singing their ABCs and then stacking them up high when they are finished!
These toys are going to be in our family for a long time. They definitely have the quality to be sustained as an heirloom that’s passed down and saved.
These blocks are amazing! They are so beautiful and the quality is amazing! I’m so excited for my son to use them for many years to come!
We love these blocks so much! My grandkids use them to build and now are using them to learn their letters!
I love these ABC blocks! The pictures are great, and my 15-month-old always points at the letters and pictures. I also have a lot of fun seeing what words I can create with them. I am a little confused why there is a number 10 instead of a number 0; however, I just did a personalized name block with the number 0, so I think it will be fine. The only thing is that I kind of wish I would have gotten the Alphabet picture blocks with four sides because it would have been easier to find what letter/number I am looking for without turning the blocks around.
These wooden alphabet and number blocks are incredibly high quality. They smell and feel amazing. I bought them for my 3 month old daughter’s playroom and have already played with them myself. I just couldn’t resist. They’re so beautiful that I also had to put them on display. Thank you Bannor Toys!
My daughter got these for her first birthday and we’ve been in love with them since day one! They’ve been such a great learning tool in our house, she’s able to recognize a majority of her letters and numbers thanks to these. And of course they’re great for building towers. The picture is of her at 17 months stacking them!
These are so pretty! I love that the child can play while learning letters, numbers and things with them.
Not the typical blocks.
My grandson loves the alphabet blocks! He loves to build with them, but is also using them to learn his ABC’s.
Wow! These blocks are incredible. They are solid, buttery smooth, detailed, and are such a great family staple. The possibilities with these are endless and I’m already dreaming up all the ways I’ll play with my kids ages 2 to 8!
These blocks are absolutely gorgeous! I had been searching for letter blocks for a while and you just can’t beat the look and quality of the Bannor picture alphabet blocks! These are just as much a gift to me as they are a gift to my kids!
I absolutely adore these blocks! They are so cute, extremely well made (with rounded corners) and educational! I can’t wait to build many towers with my baby son when he is old enough to sit up.
I bought the blocks for my grandson who recently turned one. He hasn’t been able to enjoy them yet , but I’m sure he will very soon.
I think it would be nice to put other shapes on the sides that are plain. Circles. Squares, etc to help the kids learn them.
The blocks are beautifully made. The edges are rounded. The size is perfect for small hands. My grandson is fascinated with the illustrations. The storage bag is very useful at cleanup time.
The edges are rounded, letters are clear and the object for each letter is perfect. This was our first purchase but won't be the last with Bannor Toys. The storage bag is nice because there is enough room for all the blocks so we'll be able to put them away easily.
Excellent beautiful made toys and safe for my first grandchild definitely five star
These blocks are so adorable, and fit perfectly in little hands. Simple and educational. Rave review from the birthday boy!
Deluxe ABC & 123 Blocks
I found this site from a friend who’s expecting soon. She requested ABC blocks which I absolutely love. In fact, the quality was so nice. I had to buy something else from Bannor Toys for my son.
The blocks are so well made. I will buy from this company again. Kudos
I bought these blocks as a gift for my friend’s son. I had them shipped to their home so I didn’t see them. They have told me the blocks are a very high quality. I wanted to give their son something made in the USA and would last for years to come.
All of the items that me and my daughter ordered are exactly what I expected. High quality, excellent shipping speeds. Made in America! Fox Nees is where I saw your story featured on. I am spreading the word! Merry Christmas to all of you at Banner Toys! Thank you
I just received the alphabet picture blocks for my 22 month old son. We will give them to him for the holidays. They are absolutely gorgeous and well made. We already have a set of the basic 12 blocks and these will be a great addition for play time. I highly recommend these. Thank you Bannor team!

The blocks and rattlers we got were great. Always a good product. I like how they are made in Iowa.
